A Simple Guide To Real Estate Investor SEO

Quickly learn SEO for real estate investor websites. This is my attempt to teach you everything I know about SEO in the most straightforward and concise way.

Step 1 – Sign Up & Launch A Carrot website.

Trust me when I say that they are already optimized. It would take you a solid week of work to create all the content, internal links, and the structure of the website. Nevermind all the features and tools built into the software.

Step 2 – Create/Finalize Your SEO Strategy

SEO takes time and effort. You don’t want to shoot from the hip and discover 6 months later that your strategy wasn’t going to get you to the finish line.

Step 3 – Choose 1 Keyword To Rank For

Why only one? Because it’s important to stay focused. You can follow this process as many times as you need to rank for more keywords (rinse and repeat).

As a bonus, I share a few real estate investor keywords here.

Step 4 – Optimize Your On-Page SEO For EVERY Single Page On Your Website

This is where a good strategy comes into play. Don’t make the mistake I see so many investors make and optimize multiple pages for the same keyword.

Step 5 – Drive Backlinks To Your Website

Backlinks are the final piece of the puzzle. They really push your rankings up in the search. But I wouldn’t start working on my backlinks until I was confident my on-page SEO was dialed.

So many investors make the changes to their content but don’t take the time to figure out what is working. Put your target keywords in your Carrot ranking tool. I strongly recommend the Advanced Marketer plan so you can get 20 keywords to track.
